Concerned that flight cutbacks and higher fares could negatively affect tourism, Caribbean leaders will discuss ways to handle the crunch at their annual Caricom summit. The Caribbean region attracted more than 15 million tourists to its beaches and cities last year and depends on tourism for its economic health. "We are poised at a very interesting period with some of the challenges that face us," said Harold Lovell, tourism minister for Antigua and Barbuda.
