Some 400 delegates from 20 countries converged on Texas recently to discuss -- and view -- the latest technology for collecting tolls. "The movement to open-road tolling is one of the holy grails of the toll industry; to find a way to allow customers to pay without having to stop and wait," said Patrick D. Jones, CEO of the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association.
