Enterprise Products Partners and TEPPCO Partners in Houston, along with German firm Oiltanking Holdings Americas, have announced plans for a $1.8 billion oil terminal near Freeport, Texas, that could handle up to 1.8 million barrels of oil a day. The project would include floating connections for supertankers, 160 miles of pipelines to transport oil onshore and to refineries, and onshore storage that could accommodate more than 5 million barrels of crude.
