The Redlands Dam in the Grand Canyon in Arizona burst at 6 a.m. Sunday, forcing hundreds to evacuate from the Indian tribal village of Supai. About 75 campers in the Grand Canyon also had to flee their campsites after heavy rain caused the earthen dam to burst. According to a spokeswoman from the Grand Canyon National Park, the dam flooded the village but did not cause any major damage.
