Share prices for companies that own refineries away from the Gulf of Mexico rose as forecasters saw Gustav taking aim at the Gulf. Wednesday's trading brought gains to Tesoro, with refineries in Alaska, Hawaii and the Western U.S.; Sunoco, which has refineries in the Northeast; Frontier Oil, operating refineries in Wyoming and Kansas; and Valero Energy, which has nine of its 16 refineries away from the Gulf Coast.
