Voters in California have the opportunity to approve the state's first high-speed bullet train, which could travel from L.A. to San Francisco in as little as two and a half hours. Proposition 1A on the Nov. 4 ballot would allocate funds for the 800-mile rail network. Similar high-speed trains are popular in Japan and Europe.
