The FDA is testing White Rabbit Creamy Candies and other Chinese products that contain milk for the industrial chemical melamine, though an FDA spokeswoman says no contaminated products have been found on U.S. store shelves. Candy made in China composes 0.7% of the candy sold in the U.S., says NCA's Susan Snyder Smith. The World Health Organization has said that consumers exposed to tiny amounts of melamine shouldn't worry.
