A 10-year study of nearly 80,000 Japanese adults found regular physical activity, through exercise or work, is linked to a lower risk of developing any type of cancer -- specifically colon, liver, pancreatic and stomach cancers. The study found the most-active women were 16% less likely to develop cancer than the least-active women, while active men had a 13% reduced risk.
