A study from the Pew Internet & American Life project found that consumers are increasingly using cloud computing, including Web-based e-mail and online photo storage, despite concerns about the security of their personal data. The study found that many consumers like cloud computing because of its ease and convenience, while others said they appreciate having the ability to access their information from multiple computers. However, 90% of respondents who use cloud applications are worried that their personal data may be sold.
