Runtriz, a California software firm, has a new Web application for hotels that, in effect, stuffs the front desk into each guest's iPhone or iPod Touch. Guests use their Apple gadgets -- or one the hotel lends them for their stay -- to get room service, a wake-up call or a bellhop. They can even hang a virtual "Do Not Disturb" sign. The monthly cost is $10 per room.
