"Job creation is key to any economic package," writes Liz Wolgemuth in a blog at U.S. News & World Report. She says Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama would offer businesses a tax credit for each new job they create and GOP nominee Sen. John McCain would lower corporate taxes to help spur job creation. She adds that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., advocates a major federal infrastructure program, and House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, would speed up drilling on the on Outer Continental Shelf to help create jobs.
