An Arizona forum recently examined the infrastructure challenges the state faces as its population grows. Arizona State University President Michael Crow asked whether we can "learn that Grade-A infrastructure is in fact not an expense but the basis from which we will be able to have economic competitiveness." He noted that the state must innovate to find infrastructure solutions. He also observed that the U.S. must limit debates related to infrastructure, noting that other countries "just build it and move on from there, whereas we struggle -- as we have for decades -- with this question of 'How are we going to do it?'"
