Delta Air Lines has committed to keeping a hub in Cincinnati at least through the summer of 2009, though it reportedly plans to cut about 40 flights a day beginning in January. "Delta is now reaffirming its commitment to the Cincinnati hub through the summer season of next year and then we'll take another barometer reading on how the economy is doing," said a company official, adding that he expects the Cincinnati operations to show "the biggest (profit) improvement in all of Delta next year."
