EMarketer has adjusted downward its 2009 forecast for the online segment, and now is projecting spending to increase by 8.9% to $25.7 billion, compared to an August projection of a 14% jump next year. However, eMarketer sees better times ahead in 2010, with a 10.9% growth forecast, and in 2013, with a 13.5% hike -- although both of those figures are also revised downward from previous estimates.
