The use of laptops by students in two Minnesota schools, one of which has one laptop for every student, has positively impacted teaching and learning, allowing students to explore some subjects independently and more in depth, according to a recent study. However, researchers at the University of Minnesota who prepared the report said there was no solid connection between the laptops, which were first given to students in those schools five years ago, and academic achievement.
