An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to return to the gate at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday after dozens of passengers and crew were sickened by fumes from de-icing chemicals. Eighteen passengers and nine airline employees were treated for eye irritation by paramedics, and a new plane was brought in to continue the flight to Burbank, Calif. Alaska Air Group said it was studying the Boeing 737-800 to determine how the chemical fumes entered the cabin.
