A computer golf program is helping students in one Virginia algebra class learn as they examine the pathway of a soaring ball, then analyze whether their answer makes sense in the real world. Teacher Maricia Granby can also electronically analyze how students solve problems so that she can help them work through where they went wrong. "It changes how I teach," she said, "because ... I can work with them immediately to correct the problem."
