At the first National LGBT Citizen Journalist Bloggers Summit, held concurrently with last week's Gay and Lesbian Leadership Institute-sponsored leadership conference, some five dozen LGBT bloggers gleaned tips on investigative reporting and legal issues, and had the chance to network with each other and LGBT elected officials. "I think it's important that we provide the tools to successful and new and emerging bloggers, so they can be more engaged in their community," said blogActive.com's Mike Rogers, who organized the event.
