When a car accident left Alison Schuback partially paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair, the 23-year-old was determined not to be a victim. Encouraged by her entrepreneurial parents, Schuback invented a washable, see-through bib for adults with disabilities. Schuback sees the company as both a way to remain independent and to make a difference. "People think someone like me is doing well if they are only stuffing envelopes," she says. "Well, I am not a person who is satisfied with that."
