In a recent Gallup poll, 48% of American adults said they used the Net for more than an hour a day, a significant increase from the 26% reported in 2002. While younger, wealthier and more educated people continue to report higher Net usage, significant increases in Net usage were reported among older, less affluent people, leading Gallup to suggest that advertisers should consider these demographics the Internet users of tomorrow.
