In a departure from the standard commission structure of the cruise industry, Regent Seven Seas will start paying travel agents commission on government fees, port charges, taxes and shore excursions on cruises starting in 2010. "We think it gives the agent one more reason to sell us versus the other guy," said Regent President Mark Conroy. "It's another reason to be proactive about us."
