Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently announced the elimination of most noncommissionable fees on its 2010 cruises. Mark Conroy, president of RSSC, discusses the program and why the luxury cruise line opted to eliminate the NCFs. Conroy said the move will give RSSC a competitive edge. "What I'm hoping for more than anything else is that it will get the agent motivated to be proactive," he said. "There are three groups of agents in the market: those that see this terrible time and get more proactive and continue to grow their business; those that panic, cut back and do nothing; and those that are just kind of hanging in there."
