People may be able to help control their blood glucose levels and prevent diabetes with rigorous workouts lasting just a few minutes, according to British researchers. Sustained diet and exercise can reverse Type 2 diabetes, but this study found mini-workouts totaling just seven minutes a week might be able to prevent it. The study included 16 out-of-shape men in their early 20s who rode an exercise bike for 30 seconds four times a day, two days a week.
