The Justice Department announced Thursday that airlines from Brazil, Chile and Israel had agreed to guilty pleas in an ongoing probe of air cargo price-fixing that already has resulted in more than $1 billion in fines. LAN Cargo S.A., Aerolinhas Brasileiras and EL AL Israel Airlines will pay a combined $124.7 million to settle charges that they conspired to fix prices on cargo shipments between 2003 and 2006.
