Citing the King Air 350 as an example of a relatively small airplane that would be regulated as a large aircraft under the TSA's Large Aircraft Security Proposal, Brett Snyder, travel columnist at BNET.com, calls the proposed new rule "just another overreaction from the TSA." Snyder says it is "laughable" that this airplane should receive the same security treatment as a commercial jetliner. "This would put another dagger in the heart of general aviation, an industry that has already taken more than its share of pain this year," he concludes.
