The top cell phone companies in the U.S. are backing the CTIA-The Wireless Association®'s new industry guidelines for Mobile Financial Services, an initiative designed to alleviate consumers' concerns about security and privacy issues for the emerging field. "The key to ensuring a positive consumer experience is the vigorous protection of customer account information. The guidelines address these important privacy concerns and help to set expectations of what MFS products and services will look like in the U.S.," said CTIA chief Steve Largent.
