Veteran Massachusetts music teacher Dennis Wrenn, 58, who chaired his high school's fine and performing arts programs, collapsed and died during a trip to Greece with the school's jazz band; a doctor had advised him to rest after he broke several ribs coughing from a cold, but he was determined to make the trip, Wrenn's adult daughter said. "He was indispensable," said Bret Steiman, a junior who created a Facebook memorial for Wrenn that quickly attracted more than 1,200 members. "There's really nothing that went on that Wrenn wasn't involved with."
