Politicians should come up with a better plan to sell the public on infrastructure projects, according to California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. "The word infrastructure means nothing to the majority of people of America," Schwarzenegger said. "We have to come up with a sexier word than infrastructure." He recently criticized Washington lawmakers for not properly planning infrastructure projects and noted that California created public support for infrastructure by including it in a $42 billion strategic growth plan approved by voters in 2006.
