A new study by the DOCSIS Report says that 65 million U.S. homes -- about half the country -- will be able to receive DOCSIS 3.0-powered broadband service with download speeds up to 50 Mbps by 2010-11. The report went on to say that about 15 million households could get the service right now, thanks primarily to Comcast and Cablevision.
