Danish researchers who studied 54,362 women reported that they found no "convincing" evidence that fertility medications, including gonadotropins, make patients more susceptible to ovarian cancer. However, patients "should always balance a possible small increase in ovarian cancer risk with the physical and psychological benefits of pregnancy made possible only by use of these drugs," a study author said.
