Airports can make their case at "speed dating" conferences like one held Monday in Fort Worth, Texas, where marketers have 20 minutes to make their case before a series of airlines. Joe Lopano of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport spent his day trying to convince 16 carriers to take advantage of incentives worth up to $8 million for new international routes.
