Columnist Michael Browne says that travel agents, particularly home-based agents, should promote the lost-income programs, marketing campaigns such as the one implemented by Norwegian Cruise Line that offers refunds to passengers who lose their jobs, to sell to reluctant clients. "Talk to your clients, let them know what kind of offers are out there," Browne writes. "I'm not suggesting you push them into something they may not feel comfortable about, but at least let them know that there are some options available should they face a loss of income."
