Microsoft and Fujitsu have followed HP in resolving a critical patent-infringement dispute with CSIRO, an Australian scientists group, over its 802.11 Wi-Fi technology in a case that is before a U.S. federal court. CSIRO is seeking royalties from makers of computers, networking equipment and software while Microsoft was part of a group of companies -- whose trial began Monday -- that has asked the court to declare CSIRO's patent invalid.
