Interest rates on short-term U.S. Treasury securities are again drifting toward 0% as the Federal Reserve's quantitative easing gets results. Some Treasury buyers see the Fed's approach as inherently inflationary and want to stick with short-term debt to make sure they have liquidity, said Stuart Spodek, co-head of U.S. bonds at BlackRock.
