American Airlines said Thursday it is overhauling about 15% of its 757 fleet for international service. The company said 18 of the planes will get new seats, fresh interiors and upgraded entertainment systems. The first of the revamped aircraft went into service Thursday on the New York-Brussels route. American also announced further cabin improvements for 47 of its 777 aircraft and its entire fleet of 767-300s.
