Pension funds and other large investors are turning to infrastructure companies and projects as they search for steady returns on their investments. "There's a tremendous amount of interest right now; a lot of investors have noticed strong attributes of infrastructure investing," said Jay L. Rosenberg, portfolio manager for the First American Global Infrastructure fund. Experts also note the need to repair aging facilities is providing a tremendous opportunity for infrastructure companies to grow.
