NBC is pulling out the marketing stops to promote Conan O'Brien's Monday debut as the host of its venerable "The Tonight Show" franchise. The multiplatform effort -- which uses the tagline "Have you tried Conan O'Brien?" -- spans billboards in Times Square, ads on Yahoo! and in magazines such as Rolling Stone and People, and outreach to dozens of affiliates, including many promotional spots featuring O'Brien and local personalities and news personnel.
