President Barack Obama's administration is reaching out to Americans via Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, using the social-networking sites to make good on Obama's campaign promise to offer open, unfiltered communication from the federal government. Unfortunately, some analysts note, the pages do not yet include much two-way dialogue between the White House and everyday users, leading some to question the effort's effectiveness.
