If Software-as-a-Service vendors want to see wider adoption for their products, they need to offer APIs for channel partners and support legacy applications, according to a panel discussion held at Interop this week in Las Vegas. "The general notion of having a robust API to data is a critical jumping in point" for SaaS vendors to make any headway into the enterprise market, said panelist Narinder Singh, founder of Appirio.
