When China Mobile launches its online Mobile Market in September, the world's largest wireless carrier will earn a 50% share of revenue generated from users downloading applications, according to a published report. While the carrier is taking a larger cut than app stores run by Apple, Microsoft and Google, the percentage is in line with what carriers usually charge for selling apps directly to subscribers, industry observers say.
