Nodal Techniques in Spartanburg, S.C., is developing the Eco-Mow, an electric riding lawnmower with a smaller "carbon footprint" than its gas counterpart. The prototype can mow up to 3.75 acres with a single-charged battery, eliminating the need for an extension cord to power the lawnmower. The Eco-Mow will retail for $4,500, and should be on the market within the next two months.
