New Hampshire is on track to become the fifth state to grant equal marriage rights, after the state Senate on Thursday voted 13-11 to approve a marriage bill. The Senate version next must be reconciled with a similar bill approved by the House. It's not known whether Gov. John Lynch, a Democrat who is on the record as an opponent of marriage for gay and lesbian couples, will sign or veto the legislation.
