While some GA aircraft manufacturers stayed home this year, Bombardier decided to attend the Paris Air Show in the midst of a global aviation recession. Steven Ridolfi, president of Bombardier's business aircraft division, says it's a difficult time to sell corporate airplanes, largely as a result of image problems. But despite all the negative publicity, he insists, a business aircraft is not merely a perk to be enjoyed by the fat cats. "It's like a laptop or a BlackBerry. You don't take away productivity tools."
