A Minnesota jury has ordered Cirrus Design to pay $14.5 million to the survivors of two men who died when their Cirrus SR-22 crashed in 2003. The jury ruled that Cirrus and the University of North Dakota's Aerospace Foundation were negligent in failing to provide proper training for flying the aircraft under instrument conditions. A Cirrus spokesman said the company is considering an appeal.
