Columnist Steven M. Davidoff writes that the announcements about the exiting of banks from the Troubled Asset Relief Program offered few details about the warrants the government received in the banks in exchange for the aid. He wrote that the Treasury was going to negotiate individual repurchases of the warrants, which raises a couple of issues. "The Treasury should take the time to make sure that not only is repayment a correct thing, but that the taxpayers reap the value that they deserve and need," Davidoff wrote.
