In a string of hotel industry squabbles, the developer of a 1,000-room Marriott resort being built near San Antonio is suing the chain for what it says were $90 million in cost overruns on the project. The owner of the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura, Fla., is meanwhile in arbitration with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts over the chain's alleged failure to market the newly renovated resort, and the Four Seasons Aviara hotel in Carlsbad, Calif., is in arbitration with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts over costs and other issues.
