AdvancePCS, CVS Caremark's pharmacy-benefits manager, offered to send 120,000 letters to doctors promoting Eli Lilly and Co.'s antipsychotic Zyprexa while it was under contract with insurers and pensions to bargain with the drugmaker, according to documents filed as part of a $6.8 billion lawsuit. The documents also accuse Lilly officials of ghostwriting to promote Zyprexa. "Lilly remains prepared to defend ourselves against all of these allegations in the appropriate venue, a court of law," a company spokesman said.
