Bea Perez, who joined Coca-Cola in 1996 and is currently chief marketing officer for North America, has been named the company's chief sustainability officer, leading the company's new global Office of Sustainability. "We are realigning this important work to create a unified team, strategy and business plan that connects our sustainability work and actions," said CEO Muhtar Kent.
Campbell Soup is updating its 36-year-old Labels for Education program with a new logo that is less Campbell-branded to allow for more partnerships. Mike Salzberg, head of Campbell Sales Co., said the updated program "complements the brand, it's the right economic time, and it's a good way for Campbell Soup Co. to give back."
A longtime Wrigley insider, Dushan "Duke" Petrovich, has been named president and CEO of the company, recently acquired by Mars. Petrovich replaces William Perez, who, in 2006, became the first Wrigley leader who was not a family member.
William D. Perez, who spent eight years as president and chief executive of SC Johnson, has been named the new president of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. He succeeds Bill Wrigley Jr. who will stay on as chairman.
