The "Jelly Bean" versions of the Android operating system, representing the most recent releases, have finally passed combined "Gingerbread" versions, but the latest iteration is still relatively rare at 6.5% of the market, Google reported. Now combined use of "Jelly Bean" versions tops 40%.
