Juneau, Alaska, pilot Ellen Campbell, 87, was among 1,074 women honored in Senate legislation for earning their "WASP" wings -- Women's Airforce Service Pilots, during World War II. At a base in Jackson, Miss., Campbell helped fly and test many types of aircraft between 1942 and 1944 so male pilots could be released for combat duty overseas.
